Formed in 1938,International Fiscal Association (IFA) is the leading non-governmental and non-sectoral international organization dealing with fiscal matters.With its headquarters in the Netherlands, the main objectives of IFA are the study and advancement of international and comparative fiscal law, as well as the financial and economic aspects of taxation.


Currently, IFA has more than 12,500 members from 111 countries and IFA branches have been established in more than 68 countries

With the increasing internationalization of the world's economies, the importance of international tax issues have risen as well.Therefore IFA provides a unique platform for discussion on international tax matters.

US Tax Seminar on 16 April 2019

IFA-HKB will be hosting a seminar on 16 April 2019 featuring Mr Archie Parnell, the topic will be “The History of International Taxation in the United States since the 16th Amendment: Where We Are Now and Implications for the Future”. The seminar is open to all interested persons on a first-come-first-served basis and free of charge. Certificates of attendance will be issued by IFA-HKB at the end of the session.
